When deciding to subscribe to a monthly beauty box, what do you take in to account? Do you look for big brand names? Certain types of products? I myself have subscribed to Birch Box currently after contemplating which monthly box I wanted to receive. I did a lot of searching for all different types of beauty boxes and one thing I noticed about them - there was no vegan or cruelty free ones available anywhere. Sure, you get the occasional product in the big brand monthly boxes (Birch Box had a wonderful Spectrum Collections makeup brush in the Feb box) but there isn't a box that's entirely made up of animal friendly products, so I was super happy when I finally stumbled across the Chantelle Beauty* monthly box.

Guess who went to Lush recently? If you guessed me, you're totally correct. I just can't resist popping in when I go to Sheffield and spending a tonne of money - everything is just so bloody good. I currently have a little love/hate relationship with Lush right now though, as they have stock for both Valentines and Mothers Day at the same time and honestly, my poor bank card can't handle it right now. So I decided to limit myself to three items, one of them being the new 2016 Mothers Day Rose Bombshell bath bomb!

The other day I was browsing around Instagram, I came across a cool little loop competition (a loop completion is where you follow an account and like the picture, move on to the account that is tagged in the picture, like the loop picture and follow the account and so on and so forth till your back to the start) that I immediately wanted to enter. One of the lovely brands that were part of the loop competition was KissAir Candles and it turned out that I happened to be their 1000th follower!
